I had the weirdest dream early this morning. It was involving the characters from TLOTRs and sorta a dark rehashing of the tale. What struck me as strange was how I awoke precisely at 10am and with enough time to get to church. What was strangest was this word was impressed upon my mind: gorgoth or gorgoroth or golgoroth. Anyhow, it appears Gorgoroth is a quite seriously satanic black metal band with quite serious anti-church/antichristian sentiments. I looked up the band and thanks to Daniel Harts explanations about the problems in sociopolitical movements in the Norse nations, I was able to make sense of it. Weirdly, the band is based upon the dark place in JRR Tolkiens Mordor. Now, what makes all this weird is how strangely all this came up. I was assuming the phrase would be that of a demon or something--explaining my longstanding inner turmoil, but in reality, it explained only seemed to blend off of my class discussion today that the darkness existent within each person is potential and that in many respects there exists a great deal of misguidedness within the human condition. We so often seek to reform our broken and dark ways, which so often are misguided. It went well against Kierkegaard.
