I had to run to the hardware store this morning. I tried to get a bow out of a shelf by bracing it in the middle and accidentally pulled the wall anchors out. Oops! Since its in the same plaza (7th St & Missouri), I decided Id go into Bashas to get few things I needed from the grocery store rather than drive all the way back, past my house a couple miles to get to Safeway. Or, go to Frys at 7th Ave & Camelback. I cannot begin to tell you how much I hate crossing or driving in the traffic that surrounds the light-rail! I would have been better-off going to Safeway or Frys. Eggs were much more expensive and I had to search through 3 cartons before finding one without broken eggs. Lettuce... ewww! I didnt buy any. Apples... had to really look hard for some that didnt have bad spots. Dinner rolls.... nearly every package beyond its expiration date. Onions... again... difficult to find a decent few. I thought the lady at the hardware store was having a bad day but the lady that checked out my groceries at Bashas made the hardware lady seem to be on cloud 9. I wont waste my time at Bashas again. I used to think it was a pretty good store. From now on its Safeway or Frys ONLY. The bad attitudes.... I really dont get into all the Christmas hype. But, I will say that people do seem to be of a much better attitude at Christmastime. The day after . . . Was Christmas so bad? Or, did you just use up your niceness quota? Geez! End Rant! By the way, I was very cheerful during all of these experiences. :-)
