I have a dear friend who is always positive. When my friend enters the room, people perk up and smile. During a recent conversation a different side came out. There was frustration with being busy with life (family, job, house etc) and not being able to have free/fun/me time, especially during the summer. We’ve all felt this way but most of just complain – loudly, or feel sorry for ourselves or let frustration evolve into anger and loss of patience with loved ones or tell the world our woes on Facebook. Not my friend. Through the brief conversation, honesty and openness became vulnerability and trust. Trust in a safe place to deposit baggage where it will remain untouched. What a blessing and honor to be a vessel of trust. Who has God placed in your life to be a vessel of trust?
