I have a friend named Um Laith. She was friends with this neighbor for 14 years and all of a sudden out of the blue, this woman started bad mouthing her son. The lies were so awful, it made Um Laith cry. To this day they do not speak. Um Laith is a good woman and never talks about this. She told me that people always want to believe the worse. Why do people love to gossip. You have a friend for years and all of a sudden they hear something bad and everyone flocks to believe the crap being spewed. I know exactly how she feels. True friends dont believe lies.
