I have a friend who is on a fixed income and medicare. She has had to follow her cholesterol levels yearly per request of her MD. Each year she has been able to have the test done however this year, she was told she could not have it done. The reason given was that Obamacare implementation only allotted the cholesterol test to be done every other year. If this is the future of Healthcare in America then it is pretty pathetic.
