I have a hard time with charts like this. I think its very helpful to know your rights, but its not always useful to assert them. When, where, and why is it a good idea to be uncooperative? How is this helpful or protective of your rights? Seems like it would just needlessly complicate the polices job, without helping you. And it could hurt you if they treat you within the letter of the law, without compassion -- searching for any little thing that you did wrong (old address on your license, brake light out, assuming your swerve was inattentive driving when it was really just you avoiding a minor pothole, etc.). Yes -- I understand that the point is to not be ground under the heels of oppression by people who have authority that can be abused, and I **totally** get why people feel prickly about authority abusers, but this doesnt seem like the right approach. Im not sure what is. Thoughts?
