I have a passion for Veterans rights, yes even the Navy Rick Swaims lol, because although we stood for the masses very few will stand up for us. Though it seems we have a loud voice, Often we are not heard. Too many of my buddies suffer because of the opinions of those who never sacrificed for the country. Too many of us are dying because we feel out of place and persecuted when we separate from the service. To those who help us be heard, Thank you. To those who ridicule us and think the few benefits we have are not earned, ask us our story. What this country lacks is empathy for the next person, even more we lack respect. The worst part is we refuse to educate ourselves because we hold opinion and perception in higher regard than fact.
