I have a perfectly healthy, happy 11 month old baby boy. Up until he was about 9 months he was such an amazing sleeper. We had a routine, he slept through every night and went down to bed at 8pm and woke up at 630am. Now he fight to stay awake,no matter what we do. Weve tried the sleep training, pushing the pram, going for a drive, holding him, letting him lay next to us, nothing works! Most nights were lucky to be asleep inn bed by midnight but than he screams waking us up a few hours later and its a process all over again. His not hungry, not thirsty. Weve tried different night lights, no lights, lights on, music on, music off, brought a new bed even in the hopes something would work! This week weve moved his cot back into our room and he still has screamed each night when going to bed, I just give up and let him lay in bed with me until we both fall asleep. Its taking its toll on me, my partner, our relationship. Im loosing my mind Im so over tired, Ive just gone back to work full time but cant even think properly at work Im so tired Im considering quitting to stay at home for a few months again. Weve seen a doctor theres nothing wrong, his a perfect healthy baby, so I have no clues as to what the problem could be. Any ideas or help Id love to hear! - one extremely tired mother!
