I have a provocative, yet serious question for my teacher friends. If the newer teachers (like in the past 1-3 years) were able to see in their curriculum and observe classrooms, talk with veteran teachers about trends and testing and know what they were getting into. Why did they continue on their path if they hate it so much now? And why are they upset? They knew what was coming. I get why my seasoned teacher friends are miffed; they have the benefit of knowing back in the day. That makes sense to me. I dont understand why the folks who were taught under this new system are fighting mad about a system they knew already existed.
