I have a question. I learned to make cabs in Quartzsite, AZ. I purchased a Genie cabbing machine with trim saw attachment. So far I have made a dozen cabs. The surfaces are like glass and scratch free but no matter how long I hold them under the last polishing wheel, they never look as sparkly as ones I have purchased. I have used a variety of materials, agates, Jaspers, etc. What else needs to be done? In Quartzite we had an additional machine with something on it that we buffed them with. Should you need to use one of those to get that extra glow? What am I doing wrong or what else do I need to do? Thanks for any information!
