I have a very serious promblem here One one My Does My Heart is in a lot of pain In 35 years of raising Goats I AM STUMPED. It started 10 days ago looked like mite bites and she was biting her leg in pain. so I shaved the leg- washed it with fugus cleaner put everything on this leg left rear inside. Today I found her with it wide open the hided is off the leg and bone showing and she has chewed her leg open. I called the vet I am going to try and get her there Monday in the mean time My baby is in a lot of pain I have wrapped it I have put a PVC pipe on her took it off . I have no way to put her in a head gate. PLEASE any ideals on why this is happening and how to keep her from chewing her leg . I even had pine tar on her no luck. Just now I rewashed the leg gave her some antibotic& banmine for pain and rewrapped it with Nun flor oinment. any help Ill take it and Thank you in advance.
