I have always wanted to write a blog about this. The stories of her joining in come from the testimony of Kat Ashley, governess of Lady Elizabeth. Kat was particularly found of Seymour and actually encouraged her to play along with his antics and told her that she would be lucky to have a man like Seymour. That, in my opinion, was reckless. After the death of Queen Katherine, Ashley was taken to the Tower to be questioned upon the arrest of Seymour. She was threatened to be tortured unless she gave up info on what happened between Seymour and Elizabeth. So a person will admit to almost anything under threat of torture, especially a woman. There is no other person to confirm or back Ashleys stories. And Parr and Elizabeth were constantly surrounded by people, even in private. When Parr moved to Sudeley, she had well over one hundred people brought with her to attend her. So while at Chelsea I am more than positive she had more attendants. If these stories were true, why did others not step forward with the same info?
