I have an odd problem : my CPU can only go to 798 Mhz frequency, (it should be 2.5 Ghz) I have tried disabling intel speed step. the power plan is already set on high performance with 100% processor state. the cpu is at 50 degrees at max heat at the morning just when i booted the laptop on battery power i ran Cpu Z straight away and the core frequency was 2.5 Ghz as it was supposed to be. note that core VID was 1.10 V and now it is 0.760 2-3 minutes later the 798 mhz problem came again
