I have asked you to like my sons - TopicsExpress

I have asked you to like my sons page.https://facebook/nzninjaturtle This is what he is doing with his Ninja Turtle suit which he has fund raised for. Please help him with liking his page :) A little below about his new work :) My name is Neil McCready, I am a 28 year old massage therapist living in New Zealand with my new wife Christina. I have been looking for a way to become more involved with the community and social work here in New Zealand but in a way that I see as beneficial. Let me explain :) Something I have come to realise as generations continue, is that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have not only survived but THRIVED with children all around the world. Something I have always wanted since my own childhood, was to become a ninja turtle! Unfortunately, childrens illnesss have also not only survived but continue to thrive. I am a firm believer that an illness is best dealt with whilst remaining happy and entertained. Imagination, smiles and excitement can do wonders to help a body battling with health. Thanks to finding Mr Daniel Bravo of California, I can now purchase a great quality (believable!) ninja turtle suit. My purpose for this suit... Yup, thats right :) This suit will be used in and out of childrens hospitals all throughout New Zealand. Bringing smiles, laughs, photos, videos, positivity, reinforcement, and any other requests that will hopefully further the road to health for many ill kids. I will extend my reach beyond hospitals and make myself available for children who suffer and have suffered from all types of life traumas, whether it be abuse, abandonment or illness. I hope to become well known as a resource throughout this beautiful small country we have here for school fund raisers, social events, parades and of course hospitals. To keep imagination, hope and spirit alive as many families deal with their ill fortune with their young. I have not attempted an online fund raiser before and I have no idea what to expect from such a big ask, but I am indeed asking and the outcome is up to the people reading this. Also a big thanks to teenagemutantninjaturtles for their on going support in sharing this link to their large fan base of their site. I think there are millions of ninja turtle fans in this world, and I dont dare to imagine how many young bodies are battling for health. But which ever side of this fundraiser has grabbed your attention I just need 2200 of you all to give $1 or 1100 of you to give $2 etc to make this goal achievable. The money raised will be used to purchase the suit (custom made), includes delivery to New Zealand and covers the fees for using the Go Fund Me site. I will be making no personal profit from this fundraiser, and the charity work will all be done by me personally in my spare time. Imagine you are a young child once more, but something in your body is not working like the other kids in your classroom at school. All of a sudden your mum and dad tell you that you have to be taken to a hospital to have a look at the problem. As confusing as the situation already is, now you are told that you must spend a good amount of time in this hospital. Your thoughts may drift to the sun shine, to your friends, school and classmates. But you are told you must rest in your bed until the doctor has helped you get better. Luckily there are movies and TV to help have something to do. Lots of toys and colouring books when you have the energy for it. But then all of a sudden there is a commotion outside your door and you are quietly told that you have a special guest visitor who has come to see how you are going. In walks MICHELANGELO! He always was your favourite ninja turtle wasnt he! He comes in and stands next to the bed and introduces himself. He tells you that he heard you werent feeling so great so he thought he would risk leaving the sewers to come say hello and wish you good luck! While hes here he would love to take a photo with you if you want! Something you can show all your friends and keep with you in your hospital room! The two of you have a nice chat about what its like to be a ninja turtle and what its like to be in a hospital and you slowly become good friends. Mikey now says he has to go because there are more kids that he must go and wish good luck too, they are having to spend time in hospital just like you! So you give Mikey a hug/high five (high three for Mikey) and he heads on out the room to go bring smiles to other children who happen to love Ninja Turtles! So you are still in hospital, same as before, except now you have the story of a lifetime, and the excitement and positivity of a new special friend who came to wish you well. This is my hopeful situation I would love to bring to life. A drop of happiness can cause Smiles Optimism Self-Worth Reduced Depression Improved Health :) Have a look at his page and see the happiness he is already bringing just by going for walkabouts and meeting people and children :) Such joy, thank you :) Below is the fan site for all you TMNT lovers out there :)
