Ive barely been online for the past couple of weeks - a much needed break from the interwebz! But today has been one of those organizing/catching up days. I got my new calendars for next year and put in all the important dates - and started filling up January already. I love those giant family calendars with the stickers and big boxes. I also keep a calendar in my office for writing deadlines. Two of those are looming in January. Switched purses to my new Christmas present purse. I love it. Its gorgeous red leather and absolutely massive. I swear, I could use it as an overnight bag in a pinch. I thought when my children outgrew diapers, Id be able to downsize my bag. Nope. I just have other stuff to put in it now. I discovered that I can carrry my wallet, phone, keys, charger, notebook, Kindle, a paperback or daytimer AND my Alphasmart in it and it still zips up! Not that I carry that stuff around with me everyday, but it feeds my sense of security to know that I could if I wanted to. Updated my daytimer. I need to get back in the habit of using it every day to keep all the threads of my life together. I love this time of year. Fresh starts are my favorite. :)
