I have been a listener of power 88.3 since it began. However, no longer am i just a listener. Power 88.3 has been my lifeline. Three years ago, my husband Dave was diagnosed with cancer, and after less than a four month battle, he went home with Jesus. The music and programs have helped me grieve, and continue to help daily. They give me the help I need to support my children through their grief. These past years I have been able to support this station with a Power Play, which is two dates I can choose to honor my husband and children. This past year, God encouraged us to become a foster family. This has been a huge blessing to us, but has been an incredible strain financially. This year, I am unable to commit to my annual Power Play. However, I know that I have friends and family that would be willing to donate on behalf of our family. I am looking for 25 people to donate $10 each, and I am believing that God will supply me with the matching funds. Would you please consider this request?
