I have been asked what the duck happened to you? so I thought I would post a quick timeline so everyone that wonders is caught up: June 30 - gave birth to Isabella Storm via c-section (my uterine wall separated from the amniotic sac so she would have suffocated had I gone into natural labor.) Discharged July 2nd. July 5th, admitted and transferred to larger hospital with chest pain, bradycardia (slow heart rate) and 3 blod clots in lungs (pulmonary embolisms). Put on blood thinners and discharged July 7th. July 15th, emergency D&C due to post partum hemorrhaging and 5 or 6 blood transfusions brought be back from the brink of death. My bad, I waited until Andrew got home so I knew the kids would be cared for then took myself to the emergency room. I should have gone in hours earlier. Losing my sight was the scariest, I thought I would never see my family again. After scans and tests and more scans, I was discharged July 17 in time to celebrate my 4th wedding anniversary. I am far from being a competent mommy yet, but I am slowly getting there. Bring on the medical bills, I have babies to kiss.
