I have been given several numbers during this game....a 9, 5, 7...so I guess that means 21... Here goes...21 things about me.... 1. I have 3 beautiful kids...a daughter & a set of fraternal twin boys. I gave birth to Kyle in the car & Clay shortly after in the emergency room without the aid of a doctor. 2. Bob & Is romance started with notes on the refrigerator door. He came to stay with our family for the summer one year when him and my brother were trying to start up a small business. Bob is from Montana & he originally met my brother at Montana State University. 3. My first concert without my parents was Peter Frampton....Frampton Comes Alive tour! 4. I was very shy in school. I was supposed to be in the 5th grade spelling bee but faked sick so I wouldnt have to get in front of a bunch of people. I also almost flunked out of econ..a required class for high school graduation...because I refused to get in front of class to do a speech. Luckily, the class averaged all grades together because I made an A+ on the final, and so therefore I was able to graduate. 5. When I was in the first grade, my mother got a job at the Daily Journal. She told me not to call her at work unless I was hurt and bleeding. I called her every single day, and asked her the same 2 questions....CAn I cook & can I play the stereo? 6 When I was little, I loved Cher. I used to watch the Sonny & Cher show & I would lay on the coffee table and do the vamp. I even had a Cher barbie doll. 7. My brother used to collect beer cans & little whiskey bottles! I loved looking at his collection & helping him find cans. Later, when I was a teenager...one of my cousins & me drank Brians little whiskey bottle collection & refilled the bottles with water & tea. 8.I have been a chronic hair twirler even since I was a little girl. It brings me great comfort. Some times are worse than others. I have had points in time where my hair was two different lengths because of twirling & breaking it off. 9. I have been spelunking. Did Buckners...the nutroll, corkscrew & mudroom. Even did it once without a flashlight....just stuck close to my brother. 10. My Mom was one of 8 kids, and my Dad was one of 9 kids. I have over 50 first cousins. 11. I was in a motorcycle wreck when I was a freshman in high school. I cut the tendons in one of my feet & broke a finger & was scraped up. At the scene, I was in shock & walked over to a nearby house & turned on their garden hose & was washing all the blood off of me. 12. Bob and I moved to Kirkland, WA right after we got married...and I drove across South Dakota topless....because it was so hot & desolate that I figured no one would see. 13. When I was young, I was a really bad driver. I never took drivers ed. One time I wrecked my car while checking out some construction workers. I popped my tire on one of their bobcats. 14. My best friend was Leanne Davis...for 25 years! I lost her when she was 40 years old due to breast cancer. 15. When I lived in WA, I worked in the mailroom at Sierra Geophysics. There was quite a bit of drama there throughout my time there....One of the consultants that trained me murdered his wife by beating her over the head with a belt sander. He loaded her in his car and drove around for an hour before he turned himself in. A lady in the accounting department also had another job as a stripper at private parties & we found out because she stripped at my co-workers fiancees bachelor party. Also, had a child actor work there. He played the part of Kurt in the Sound of Music. Im Kurt & Im incorrigible. 16. I participated in the WNAP raft race on the White River one year. Our raft fell apart & I couldnt swim...but...it was still a ton of fun & I am still alive! 17. I am a music freak!!! I love it all!! All genres... But...Im a terrible singer & cant play any instruments. 18. My son, Kyle, had autism...and one year, I really had to fight the school to get him a decent eduation. It is one of the worst things I have ever been through. 19. My Dad passed away 5 years ago...and every year since his death, I have found morel mushrooms in my backyard. I have lived here for 20 years & never got one until he passed away. I know it is him sending me a message & love from heaven! 20. One time I felt low about myself because I felt I had no talent....and a Fransciscan guy showed me my talent....He said I was nice....and you know...he was right. Not everyone is nice & I am! 21. I used to be kind of lonely because I dont get out much....but FB saved me. I totally think it is a wonderful outlet for lonely, homebound & elderly people. I have met so many wonderful friends on here...and I love you all!!
