I have been hearing people talk about how bad things have gotten. People claiming how bad crime is. How violence is up. time for a reality check (hahaha me talking about reality). This information is only for the U.S.A. I dont have numbers for 2013 or I would go farther. so please people tell me where is the evidence of things getting worse Inside the usa. what people are reacting to to think things are worse comes from two places. 1st is the 24 hour news cycle. 2nd is romancing the past. people will often have the idea that they survived and had some fun back in some point in the past so it had to be better. take Them put them together and it is a very powerful illusion. But it is an illusion I am happy that my children are not growing up 20 years ago. well ok this is only on the point of the crime rate. We know more about what is happening this makes it feel like more is happening. but this is just the result of the blinders being removed. data from: ucrdatatool.gov/
