I have been super nostalgic lately. Like really, really nostalgic. Especially around the time I was 14. So much has happened since then. This truly was probably my favourite age in my life so far. Life was simple and exciting. Amazing and life changing people came into my life at 14. Especially from attending camps at Wirraway Homestead Youth Centre where I met some of my bestest friends. I purchased my first horse, Stewie, with my own money I had saved. I worked at Subway throughout that time to pay for his up keep. He was my absolute pride and joy, a dangerous TB to ride but he had a heart of gold. Gosh I miss those days. I feel odd saying that. But where have the past 7+ years gone? I accept that I do many shameful and cringeworthy things, like dancing to music in a super animated way when I drive, especially when Taylor Swift is on! But here is a video tribute I made to Stewie, when I was 14. I think I already regret posting this...but this woeful video has certainly tugged at the heart strings. For me, it reminds me of why I do my job, imagery really does take you back, provokes emotion and holds such a sentimental value.
