I have been thinking for a while how to give my lesson horse some relief from beginners hands, you know the ones where they kick the feet and the hands jump or the hands rise when the horse moves. My horse stop when either happens as they should. So today. I took my side pull and took a couple of old leather reins cut them added a ring at about 9 inches, crisscrossed them under the chin and made it into a bitless bridle added the rope reins. I will say Aviance thought that was pretty nice.
