I have been thinking today as i sat and drank my many cups of tea, that maybe my cup isnt all together as boring as it could be. Although the cup has a lot of sentimental value to me, i feel it also lies to me sometimes. Boasting the words congratulations at me as i make a brew. As if prompting me to make the perfect cuppa. I myself am happier with a mundane beverage. The cup its self although pink is very inoffensive, but as it reads the words congratulations on it. It adds to the pressure of making a perfect cup of tea. I feel that this is the wrong cup for my daily tea drinking needs, as most but not all cups are satisfactory. I sometimes fail completely at making a undeniably satisfactory cuppa. (Mainly down to the water in my area not my tea making skills, i will add) I am thinking that a beige or blander cup that has no boasting skills is more up my alley and will be far more satisfactory. Tomorrow i will buy a beige cup.
