I have been to city hall and have seen the bathroom! This is an issue that now should be dead. The bathroom has been remodeled and is entirely tiled. He told me the sink was broken when he got here and the water was leaking to the floor below. The bathroom is nothing more than I would see in a nice house. I asked him the total cost and he told me about $6000. Having had an apartment house and a single family home, that is about what a bathroom remodel costs. I am glad I have not spoken publicly about this because I would then feel like a fool. We should have correct information and not rumors and innuendo. I will say though, I did speak to a city councilor about the doors to the city attorneys office which cost $10,000 and were not in need of replacement, Facts not fiction will get this city where it needs to be!
