I have been to concerts from Maine to FL and NY to CA and by far the WORST audiences are in Boston. Standing for 2 1/2 hours, talking loudly throughout the entire show and shining their smartphones in my eyes. Apparently their phone is the only smart thing about them. What makes them think that I would pay $65 to listen to them and watch their backsides? The standing shows disrespect for their fellow concert goers while the conversing demonstrates a disrespect for the music. A concert is not a club! Go to the club for your modern mating rituals and let the rest of us enjoy the music!
