I have been using M/R with a lot of success, but I got stuck with a client this weekend. I worked with a close friend with some early age incest issues. In the Matrix, she was able to describe everything down to the tiniest detail, including some things she had not previously remembered. When we unfroze the ECHO, and the client introduced herself, asked for the permission, etc (per protocol). She said the ECHO looked at her, then froze again. The ECHO (about age 3) would only stare ahead/through my client in the Matrix. My client was empathically being able to pick up the emotions (sad/betrayed) and that this had happened before. I told her, stay squatted down, go ahead and AGAIN explain who she was and that she was there to help. She said she felt as if the little girl told her (empathically) NO!, again, not acknowledging her. She stated it was as if the ECHO were still frozen, but was speaking to her thru their thoughts. The ECHO was very adamant that my client not touch her AT ALL and just wanted her to go away, then suddenly quit communicating with my client. (You have to love the temperament of a 3 year old!) OK, so, obviously not the core issue, but she was unable to engage the ECHO to help her find anything further back. Muscle testing showed about 1 1/2 years of age for the original trauma. We tried time line therapy and several other tricks to get past/go around this event. But, she said it was as if the little girl was standing in front of me with her arms crossed and a very defiant look on her face, refusing to acknowledge me. My first thought was secondary gains maybe? No luck there. My client was very upset that that THIS ECHO was not willing to help clear the trauma, NOR help her find the first/another time. We did some tapping for I cant even help myself (her words) to close the session and bring those emotions down to zero. I have another friend that I had helped with a similar issue who had suggested bringing her ECHO a puppy (a peace offering of something that COULD offer her security and unconditional love if the ECHO didnt believe that the client was there to help her). Any ideas or suggestions? Thank you in advance!
