I have been voting in elections since I was 18, and that was a long time ago I can assure you. But for the first time I have been amazed at the way this referendum has caught the imagination of everybody on both sides. Yes there have been a lot of, lies, damned lies and statistics but for the first time in my life I feel I am part of a huge popular movement and for the first time my vote will actually count for something and lead to actual change, not just in Scotland but to show the rest of the UK that there has to be and in fact there is a better way. It is not time to go over endless points and facts and figures, weve been doing that for the last two years. Now it is time to look to the dream and make your vote count, not for us auld yins, though spare us a thought, but for our children and grandchildren and their future. This is, to me, the most important event in the history of Scotland and my campaigning life. Make it count.
