I have brought this issue to the attention of the assistant principal and the principal of Westwood Elementary on multiple occasions and they have failed at doing anything about it, so I now appeal to the parents. I live behind the school, my backyard buts up against the playground. Everyday of the school year I have to go out into my yard and look for trash and other items that have been thrown over the fence by the students. I have dogs, I have to make sure that nothing has been thrown over that could potentially kill one. I have found: toys, items of clothing, silverware, water bottles, potato chip bags, hairbrushes, ziplock bags, lunchables packets, the list goes on. I have taken trash bags FULL of stuff on multiple occasions. I know its the students because I have seen them doing it. My dogs cant go out during the day anymore because some of the students have actually tried to hit my dogs with things. Please tell your kids, throwing trash into someones yard is still littering.
