I have come across many basic issues with international students while doing visas. PLEASE NOTE FOLLOWING SIMPLE TIPS to make visa extension simpler for you: Please check PASSPORT VALIDITY date. It is good to have more than 6 months’ validity Does your sponsor have accounts with NABIL or SBI Bank? Remember to meet financial requirements for Non-SVP courses you need to show financial documents, 3 months old funds might be required Are you MAINTAINING your CURRENT VISA condition? If not visa might not be renewed and also in between if you apply any other visas like 457 or dependent might be refused. Maintaining subclass only for SVP students might NOT BE enough for visa renewal If you have a new born baby please apply passport and update with immigration and get him/her visa. You need valid IELTS or minimum of Certificate IV completed in Australia to meet English requirement while renewing your visa. Book your IELTS now if you need it. If you don’t have any course progress or less than 80% attendance it can be problem. If you are currently on 485 visa and thinking of student visa do not keep it for last few days. You need to lodge paper visa and post it to Adelaide before 485 expires. If you are on 457 visas and thinking of PR; make sure you are getting right pay, working right hours and doing related job, your owner meeting training benchmark, meeting IELTS requirement and few more to look for.
