I have decided to spend some more time on Prosperos Rules. For those of you who are new to this (or have forgotten), these are simply my bits of wisdom for all to live a wonderful and fulfilling life. Additionally, if you follow them, it is the best way to ensure that you dont piss me off. Todays edition is Rule #24 and is the Dont be that guy rule. Simply place Dont be that guy that in front of the following: 1...asks a buddy to help him move (or other favor) but avoids his call when they are looking for help. 2. ...loves the Yankees but does not hate the Red Sox. If you are a true fan, you can not truly love the Yankees unless you loathe those Boston Scumbags. (The same goes in reverse) 3...gets stupid drunk and vomits or urinates in an unconventional place and then mock your buddies who really know when to say when. 4....that never goes to class and then begs your classmate and friend (who always went to class) for their notes and help in test prep (this is the Nick Prospero and David Whitehair rule). 5...gets pissed when someone cuts you off in traffic and flips them the bird and then acts surprised when the favor is returned on your bad driving day. 6...goes to stripclubs and then looks down on the strippers (the way I see it--they are the ones with your money--you jackwagon). 7...can not quote great movies like Stripes, Superbad, Billy Madison, Caddyshack, The Godfather, etc and tell people who do that their heads are filled with useless trivia. First, we know our heads are filled with useless trivia--like what type of asshat you are. Second, these movies helped form the humor of real men in a generation or generations. Get with the group or put your ass on top of your head (because you sire are an asshat--or from Ferris Bueller, an asshole. These seven Dont be that guy examples can be used in many different situations. For example, #2 is approrpriate in any type of rivalry. Also, #3 is not only applicable in college or high school, but also in the workplace. Just remember--Dont be that guy--or eventually Prospero will find you and introduce you to my frying pan and stupid people laser.
