I have developed a Blueprint for all round development, leading to transformation of Ekiti State from where we left it in 2007, which has remained largely the same till date. Taking off from the 2003-2007 Blueprint, which focused on infrastructural development, we shall consolidate on all gains made from then so far and improve on same. The new Blueprint shall lay more emphasis on the peoples welfare and standard of living, in the areas of Human Capacity Development (HCD),Poverty Eradication, Job Creation and Youth Empowerment, Expansion of the States Economic Base through Agriculture,Miniing, Entrepreneurship and Tourism, as well as the Social Welfare reform and infrastructural upgrading in the areas of Water, Education, Health, Housing, Markets etc. Effective governance and prudent management of resources to maximize the allocation and use of state scarce resources shall be vigorously pursued - His Ex.
