I have developed a little hobby that a lot of folks do not know about. I was checking into some family history a few years ago and found out that a United States Naval Destroyer was named after a distant relative of mine. The USS Bulmer was named after Roscoe Bulmer, and was delivered in 1920 and served until 1947. She was one of the few ships to survive the Asiatic Sea campaign after Pearl Harbor. It was a Clemson Class Destroyer with the designation of USS Bulmer (DD-222). Anyway, I have been collecting vairous things from the ship. Rather that is photographs of it both Pre-War and During World War 2 or Naval letter covers with its Postmark on them. Each ship has its own Post Office from my understanding, so they have their own Post Mark stamp. Here is a picture of some of my collection of stuff now. All of the photographs except for the two framed ones are originals from the 1930s. The two framed photographs are digital prints that I snagged off of the net. All of the envelops have the Bulmer post mark on them, except for the middle one on the bottom. That one is post marked September 2, 1945, which is VJ Day, known as Victory over Japan Day. The end of World War 2. Anyway, I hope you all enjoy. Thanks, Bobo
