I have discovered that when ones rowdy and anti social neighbour is playing their rap music at such a volume that one is unable to escape it, the best thing to do in involve ones family in a Sunday afternoon session of Name that tune un-associated as we are with music and such by Eminem and his ilk, we are having a hoot trying to understand even one sentence so we can google and learn what each tune is called. 30 minutes in we havent managed to name even one tune My 11 yr old has downloaded an app that tells us what these musical treats are called, at the moment we are hearing ( note, I did not say listening to, different thing altogether, we are hearing and unable to not hear) Straight Jeans and fitted. By someone named Vybz Kartel ( may not be his real name) This is, in my opinion, hideous music at the best of times, played through the walls at a level so loud the floor shakes I can barely come up with the correct word. Unfortunately the fence we put up yesterday does not stop us hearing these people, only seeing them. This is my PSA for the day, the only way one can avoid feuds of the kind seen only on television documentaries about unfortunate people who are driven to desperate levels by inconsiderate and socially challenged neighbours is to embrace the if you cant beat em join em ranks and turn it into a game and resist ( at all costs) the deep and desperate urge to retaliate at 5.30 by playing a mix of rousing gospel songs or Non stop Bollywood Dance bounce mix. 2013
