I have had a roller coaster year beginning with a mental breakdown and several months in psychiatric hospitals of varying care and treatment and then deciding to change jobs and work for an organisation I respect and understand and am proud to work for. I can now manage my illness with both therapy and medication and really savour all life has to offer. I have an amazing partner in Brendan and I feel extremely lucky to also have the loving family and friends that I do. I love you all very much, thank you all for being there For me when all I felt was that I could no longer live, it was all of you who helped me realise that not only could I live but that I could thrive. I have managed my illness and now live a contented life and for this I am utterly grateful. Merry Christmas to all my friends and family and to all those who suffer from the same illness as I did, in the same places I was, I hope too that time will heal the woes of your afflictions and the peace of Christmas come upon you.
