I have had the wildest nights on the trail driving a stellar dog team that dont seem to tire .A couple nights the team was flying and we almost got run over by a huge moose crossing the trail that moose must have been moving 30 miles an hour!! then last night me and my team were chased for a half a mile by a very large pack of wolves over 12 wolves was like they were ever where al of a sudden they were suronding us and trying to cut us off there were a few dominant greys that charged in at us with in 15 yards, I yelled at them banged a chain onmy snow hook to make noise !I had emptied the 22 hunting a couple groups of ruffed grouse a few hrs back talk abought being scared I was terrified at how aggressive and huge they were .lucky for me I have a wonderfull team of well trained dogs that they seemed to sense the need for urgency in thesituation and hauled ass straight ahead at 16 miles an hr (after already running 50 miles)this was all happening on a lake they followed us to and trough the portage to the next lake where they stoped chasing us my heart pounding I shined my light back at the portage and there was lots of little eyes ! this a very interesting thing that happened so I felt like sharing the story. Life is all ways an adventure at CANT STOP KENNELS!!
