I have in the couple of weeks received swift, subtle and horrific treats from close friends on my penchant cry over the misrule of this present administration. But rather than seeking everlasting solution to the pervading crisis, the government and its supporters are hell bent on threatening me to silence. Yet, we continue to wallop in perennial suffering metted on us by the incumbent. As I speak, Ogun State government hasnt paid our monthly deductions for September, October and November. Salaries for the month of November is still in limbo. Yet, they say we should complain. Civil servants thrive and meet their obligations from loans drawn from their cooperative societies. It is this very deductions that is used in lubricating the the loans and thrift schemes of these societies. Till date, no cooperative society of civil servant has been able to meet its obligations since three months ago. If you want to react, please help call on Amosun to meet his financial obligations to the civil servants. Tell him that people are not happy with him. Deuteronomy 24 : 14-16 clearly gave a succinct impression of Gods injunction on labour and its wages. The man dies, who keeps mute in face of oppression. -Wole Soyinka.
