I have interrupted my hiatus, I dont know what possessed me, maybe because it is April Fools Day, but I turned on my TV this morning. They were talking about potential 2016 presidential candidates. Of course, I flashed some sports commentators analyzing some big game. Dont misunderstand me, I enjoy a good round table discussion by pundits as much as the next guy. It sounds like conventional wisdom has the republican pick as, either Christie or Bush and the democrats of course, will put forth Hilary. I like the come out of nowhere Barak Obama precedent, personally. I think the oligarcy is crafty enough to know the American public will require a leader they can invest their faith in. Of course this translates into an unknown quality. I confess to being among the few remaining people on my pages who still endorse Obama. More for his uncanny ability to send right wing religious zealots into a frenzy and his polished left wing pandering, even though the strings seem to become more apparent every day. Its how the game is played after all, the illusion of winning something, at least in my mind is measured as much by some progress on some social issues as it is in isolating the 20th centuryists to the edge. Or in the words of Charlie Sheen...
