I have just come across this posting on a grass roots forum. To give it some context the question was around whether in instances of misbehaviour should the individual or the team be punished. This was the reply from a manager of u12s. I thought it was quite alarming, am I being to soft and conservative? I would like to hear peoples views on this. When I punish 1 player the rest see it a a joke so I now do what happened when I was army, blanket punishment normally the guilty party bangs out press ups while the rest of the squad go for a run or vice versa depending on how annoyed I am with the culprits
