I have just finished watching episode 373 of One Piece. Beyond a shadow of a doubt, absolute 100%, all hands down, THRILLER BARK IS MY FAVORITE ARC IN ONE PIECE!!! (where I am currently that is. My favorite arc could very well change as I continue watching.) The pacing of the build up of the arc is not dragged out, all the fights even the small ones are intense and entertaining, there is no random filler scenes/episodes in the arc, and most of all the arc is not littered with like 15 episodes worth of flashbacks(not to say those episodes are bad, but come on, lol). Concerning Gecko Moria, i thought him to be rather weak, for his position as 1 of the Shichibukai. He can steal shadows, place them in bodies, and control them at will. Sure that is truly and honestly powerful of an ability I have ever seen, but when I look back at Crocodile, I thought him just simply being made of sand, even ignoring all his attacks, was far more fearsome than everything Gecko Moria had shown. Then that all changed at the end of episode 373, when Gecko Moria absorbed 1000 shadows. I would like to apologize for sleeping on him. The Straw Hat have been fighting Oz for like 5 episodes now, and now they have to deal with Gecko Moria and his 1000 shadow power up, and WTF is Bartholomew Kuma of the Shichibukai doing on Thriller Bark. The Straw Hats are in some shit.
