I have just spent seven hours receiving an infusion for rheumatoid arthritis - and I spent it with some wonderful people who all shared the same thing: pain and suffering. It seems the more pain and suffering people endure the more they gain a sense of togetherness, strength and bravery. And it got me thinking: if God made a place called Hell in which to visit pain and suffering on those people who hadnt worshipped and obeyed him yet pain and suffering brings people together and makes them stronger wouldnt there come a time when the more people God sent to Hell, and given the number of people who break his laws, even those who keep professing obedience and worship yet keep breaking their gods laws, the more he will have to send to Hell, the stronger Hell will become and eventually Hell will become stronger than Heaven. So either God expected more people would go to Heaven as opposed to Hell, which surely means he didnt understand his creation very well, or, as I think more likely, those people who invented the concepts of Heaven and Hell - almost certainly men who were not warriors else they would have understood the concept - did not understand that pain and suffering brings people together and makes them stronger and braver.
