I have made several comments of late, triggered by the recent election where my fellow democrats decided that it was too much trouble or it was a waste of time to vote. We lost the midterm elections. I have been pretty depressed by this, and it triggered some nasty comments about the other side....I publicly apologize for the insensitive nature of these comments. I do however still harbor the feelings that are behind the comments, and hope that the new governmental bodies will take some time to reflect on their fellow man and their environmental responsibilities, as well as the reason this country was established...to provide religious freedoms, and to open up a melting pot of civilization to the world. Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free goes the sentiment. Also, we are stewards of our planet. Lets not deny the truths that our science has discovered. Lets enact any laws or regulations that will allow our grandchildren to grow up in a world that is safe and pure, with water to drink and food to eat. Let them live long lives, and have access to the best health care. Let them have jobs that they can be proud of, and that will also further the line of humanity rather than work to jeopardize our way of life. Thanks for listening, and again, Im sorry if I have offended. Please see where Im coming from, and try not to act solely out of your pocketbooks. Money is cheap...life isnt.
