I have many friends that are veterans. I thank them all for their service. Whatever reason they joined their particular branch of the service, they were all part of something larger than themselves. The Marines allowed me to travel the world and get a better perspective of just what a unique and wonderful country we have. That perspective lives on in a veteran through out his life. He realizes how precious and fragile our system of government is. I am willing to bet the percentage of veterans who vote is substantially higher than the general populace. May God bless all who have, are and are going to serve. Semper Fidelis.
