My vehicle license tab fee increased $20 just by moving from the county to city limits… That stupid corridor between Nevada and Crestline. Look at a map… You will get it. Imus chipped it down to $30 across the board but other forces have been gradually ramping it back up. Fair taxes would be gross weight, vehicle type. It used to be age and worth of the vehicle (thus your ability to pay.) On another note… A Toyota Cam. grinding down our asphalt with studded tires does much more damage than my FWD pickup without Studs. County and State dopes. They do not make policy decisions based upon actual science or data. Do not be fooled. Vote accordingly, ask questions and be informed.
