I have never been a voracious reader, and I started reading very late in my teens, although I do read and write as and when possible! I have been challenged by one of the admins to list 10 books that have stayed with me (Il take the revenge for this!) and my list may not be that impressive. But, heres the list of 10 books that I really loved! 1. The Alchemist, Paulo Coelho “Its the possibility of having a dream come true that makes life interesting.” 2. Eleven Minutes, Paulo Coelho “The universe only makes sense when we have someone to share our feelings with.” This book shows how taking decisions that affect your entire life are tough, something that I closely connect myself with. It also brings out love in a way that awakens your soul, close to lust, but devoid of it. 3. The Secret, Rhonda Byrne “You are the one who calls the law of attraction into action, and you do it through your thoughts.” Everyone should read this book at least once! Although, I hate reading inspirational books, but was forced to read this one! And, yes, this single book has changed the way I perceive things, and that has made a lot of difference! 4. Digital Fortress, Dan Brown If you love sci-fi and thrillers, youl love this one! 5. Only Time Will Tell, Jeffrey Archer “You can often judge the character of a person by the way he treats his fellow men.” Perception! I loved the way this book describes at length how different people, perceive the same situations differently! A social drama, and quite engaging! 6. P.S. I Love You, Cecelia Ahern “What a luxury it was for people to hold their loved ones whenever they wanted” 7. Shiva Trilogy, Amish Tripathi Mythology and modernity coupled to give an amazing read! Although, I personally found the third book a little boring. 8. Ramayana, Valmiki I have always loved mythology, have read it in a couple of shorter and different versions. Yet to read the epic in detail, but it remains close to my heart. 9. Two States, Chetan Bhagat It happens to be the first book that I read (I said, I started reading late :P) and that too at my JEE prep time! First is always special, coupled with IIT+IIM rosy picture that the book paints! 10. A Walk To Remember, Nicholas Sparks “It was, I remembered thinking, the most difficult walk anyone ever had to make. In every way, a walk to remember.” I wish to read the Harry Potter Series (saw the movie first :() and the Mahabharata! Now, I challenge, the other admin, and all the readers and fans, to tag us and tell us your 10 best reads! :D - Admin: A, From the Pages of a Diary
