I have never worked so hard and seldom has there been so much at stake. I got a job taeching Step Aerobic and then discovered I had no clue (it had changed). I have watched classes, taken notes and watched DVDs. Now I am dancing on bloody stumps til I get it right. One week and 20 hours left. On the other had I wrote four poems today. Then wanting to match my record of six in one day I asked two friends to throw me some words. After I finished up rehearsing I wanted to express how I felt about my task. Thats right #7. Dont Falter of Stray How much do you want it? How much will you pay? How strong is your will not to falter or stray? The road you have chosen is scattered with stones. The buzzards are hungry and looking for bones. You need to continue though many would stop. Your heart skips a beat so you start from the top. The view in the distance can hardly be seen. The glass on your lens must be focused and cleaned. The days march in rhythm with hours as steps. Your feet are now hurting but time takes no rest. The steps of a journey that you need to take Are drummed in your head and they keep you awake. How much do you want it? How much will you do? How hard will you fight for the dragon you slew? The stones can be cleared and the maidens be freed But the dream that you reach will be paved with your deeds. CA Roberts 09.09.14
