I have no envy for those of you getting children eeady for a big day tomorrow... I hated the first day of school... My kids were questioned about cousins that they barely knew... Early on they learned to say.. You taught my mom... Or my aunt Martha Thompson... They were two of those Black girls..or in some cases.. You went to school with my mom... But oh those first impressions made tomorrow will set the standatd for a ling year... Id adise my kuds to be on their best good behavior and to try to let their swertest self shine through... And sometimes me and mine got a hold of a teacher with their very own agenda... They had judged my child and my child them in that harsh first morning light .... yea.. The schools hated me... I earned it...
