I have no illusions that President Obama is anything more than a puppet of the forces that deny humanity of its spiritual destiny. I do not believe any politician from the right or the left is any kind of Messiah . However, this speech should go down in history as one of those which inspire our spiritual growth as human beings on this planet. And here, I must point out the three points that should (for any Christian, Muslim, Pagan, or otherwise believer in a spiritual reality) be considered both for Obamas bravery in expressing these truths, and the truths as they most certainly exist for any man/woman of faith. And Obama will have won his place in history (and perhaps heaven) for his bravery in making these bold and truthful statements, Meanwhile, Sean Hannity can suck it! And here are the brave and beautiful points: Point 1: No God condones this terror. No grievance justifies these actions. Point 2: Second, it is time for the world – especially Muslim communities – to explicitly, forcefully, and consistently reject the ideology of al Qaeda and ISIL. Point 3: It is the task of all great religions to accommodate devout faith with a modern, multicultural world. No children – anywhere – should be educated to hate other people. There should be no more tolerance of so-called clerics who call upon people to harm innocents because they are Jewish, Christian or Muslim. It is time for a new compact among the civilized peoples of this world to eradicate war at its most fundamental source: the corruption of young minds by violent ideology Thank you for these words, Mr. Obama..
