I want to share with you guys,2 important keys from the Word of God THE BIBLE which will help you greatly to make the right decision concerning your marriage.I have prayerfully prepared this for youll Read it,Contemplate it & follow it. I Promise youll be blessed! 1) If the person is not BORN AGAIN,LOVES JESUS & THE WORD OF GOD,you have NO BUSINESS EVEN TO CONSIDERING THAT PROPOSAL. If the person whom your considering is not a Believer.Its a BIG NO!! You may be offended by my blunt answer. But my dear its not Franklin Joshuas opinion,Look what the BIBLE says.. Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believe with an infidel? 2 Corinthians 6:14,15. 2) Now If the person is born again, next step is you need to find out whether that is the person GOD HAS SPECIFICALLY PLANNED & CHOSEN to be your spouse. To know the mind of Christ concerning your marriage you must do these 2 things.. You must PRAY about the proposal,wait upon God to lead you by His peace & assurance from God in your spirit,trusting upon the Lord to direct your steps.NEVER HURRY AND GIVE INTO PRESSURE BY ANYONE,NEVER GIVE IN TO YOUR EMOTIONAL FEELINGS.And at the same time NEVER PROCRASTINATE TOO MUCH, LET GOD LEAD YOU.. [Practically speaking pray earnestly for a minimum of atleast 3 months about your marriage proposal before making your decision] Very important to SEEK GODLY COUNSEL from your Parents & family, if they are Believer themselves. Seek Godly Counsel from your Pastor or your mentor The Spiritual Father or the Mother who loves you & cares for your well being & who prayers for you.Seek Godly Counsel from your Believer Godly friends.Never ignore their counsel because the Multitude of Counselors their is safety. Here are few Scriptures that shows how God specifically hand picks & chooses who should be your Spouse.
