I have recently become enamoured by an area near my new house called Callan Park. I have been personally struggling a little (probably all the life changes) and finding this park brought me a personal joy which I so needed. I have since found out that the site was home to NSWs first voluntary psychiatric hospital. I also found out that Henry Lawsons mum, Louisa, spent time there. I am not sure why but delving into the history of this area (as well as speculating the future use) is bringing me much comfort. If you know anything about Callan Park, please share.
