I have seen this on several of my conservative friends walls, as if it was a bad thing. I am a conservative. I was a health insurance analyst for years at the largest employer/insurer in Nevada. This is a bad thing for the billion dollar insurance companies, but a good thing for Joe Six-Pack. If insurers tried to gouge policy holders by raising deductibles, co-pays, or out of pocket maximums, (things the Americans cannot afford out-of-pocket according to US banking statistics) those policies would no longer benefit the holder and would not be grandfathered policies. You should be thanking the government for paying attention to how insurance companies rip-off uninformed consumers. In case you think you are rich and this takes money out of your pocket, if you arent in Forbes or running a company with tens of thousands of employees, you need to realize this is saving you money. This promotes entrepreneurs and small to medium business owners, the middle class, the backbone of America. I am talking 99.8% of all people are going to have a benefit from Obamacare. We are the only civilized nation in the world without socialized medicine. Think about that and the current state of our economy vs. say the European Union, UK or China. If people werent worried about keeping their company provided health insurance they could afford to stop working at their dead-end jobs and start being the entrepreneurs and innovators that made this nation great. If young people are mad at this? Guess what. You already pay for senior citizens health insurance out of your hard earned pay check and are getting nothing back. You have been for decades. Its called Medicare. It was socialized medicine approved by conservatives to keep the old guys alive so that they could survive long enough to use their wealth and influence to control future generations single-handedly. Those same old men who control the media, the government, and employ illegal aliens for minimum wage or outsource jobs rather than promote sustainable american careers will now be forced to subsidize younger peoples health insurance costs. It is in their best interest to convince you this is bad. It is a tax on the uber-rich and a benefit to the poor/sick. Much like medicare was a tax on the poor to benefit the rich/aging. This will at least be something you pay for that benefits you, your current/future family, & their health and financial security. Change is good. This is progress. Even if it costs you a few extra dollars or if you are forced to switch jobs, that means your employer didnt value you enough to provide for your healthcare costs anyway, so switching jobs maybe a good idea. Progress is good. Stop blaming a president who is helping everyone, including those too dumb to see it. I am not writing this to incite a riot from the self-proclaimed conservative friends of mine who are passing along what some older rich guy told them to think about this. Again, I am a conservative. Look at the big picture. This is whats right for #America #obamacare #progress #media #mislead #educate #nbc
