I have seldom if ever been in a funeral procession any longer than todays for Brianna. Those present at the graveside were greater in number than many funerals I have officiated. The coming together has been inspirational. The support of family and friends has been phenomenal. Now, or at least soon, some new challenges will be faced. I am sure many family members and friends will be starting their journeys back home. The prayers will continue I am sure, but a difference will be the lack of visible support. The community and area have done a masterful job of reaching out and being there for Briannas family. The media, law enforcement and others have gone above and beyond the call of duty. In the past three months denominational lines have been crossed, personal differences have been set aside, strangers have become friends, shoulders have been shared, hearts have been touched and lives have been changed through the life and death of Brianna. No words can express the difference your prayers and presence have made. I am proud to be a part of the Dunkirk/Redkey community. I am blessed by the opportunity to have made so many new acquaintances. Though miles and schedules may soon separate many of us I am a better person for having had each of you cross my path. God bless you and remember this about me if you remember nothing else- I BELIEVE. No comment needed other than I BELIEVE!!
